Comment: Longitudinal Follow-up of Subjects Enrolled in Randomized Trials of Prenatal and Infancy Home Visitation
This grant supports a project that will conduct follow-up studies of two nurse home visitor trials. David Olds will analyze the effects of home visiting on parents and children. The first study will examine the impact of nurse home visiting on the children of mothers 19 years after the program was implemented. The second study will measure whether the use of paraprofessional home visitors instead of professional nurses affected program outcomes. The findings will be published in professional journals.
