Comment: Consumer Choice in the Provision of Public Services: Vouchers and Related Delivery Mechanisms
This grant supports research on the effect of consumer choice provisions on the delivery of public services. The project will examine existing studies of government aid programs, such as housing assistance vouchers, food stamps, and child care vouchers, in order to inform policy makers who are considering using consumer choice provisions to deliver other services, such as elementary and secondary school education and medical care. Papers commissioned for a conference will be published as a book.
