Comment: Countering Biological Terrorism in the United States
This grant supports a study to develop a strategy against the threat of a terrorist attack employing biological weapons. The project will examine national vulnerabilities to biological weapons terrorism, intelligence requirements, emergency response capabilities, and a variety of counterterrorism options, including the use of advanced technologies to neutralize biological weapons agents. The findings of the project will be published in a final report and briefed to the policy community.
