Comment: ARVN: A History of America's Ally in Vietnam
This grant supports the research and writing of a book on the role of the Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN) in the Vietnam conflict and on the relationshipship between U.S. military forces the ARVN. The project will employ archival research, interviews with ARVN military leaders, and recently declassified Vietnamese documents to explain how issues of inter-state relations, nation-building, diplomacy, and national identity may have affected the outcome of the conflict.
