Comment: To support the Long-Term Benefits of Head Start Project
This grant supports a 17-year follow-up study of children who attended two Head Start programs. A comparison group will be constructed of non-Head Start children who were similar in age and attended the same primary school. The study will contrast the post-secondary social, educational, and economic characteristics of the two groups. The results will be presented and published in professional meetings and journals.
