Charles Perry will direct an effort to analyze the dynamics affecting the conventional military balance on the Korean Peninsula. The research team will conduct interviews in the United States, South Korea, Japan, and China and develop policy recommendations to address the conventional military threat on the Korean Peninsula in light of the reconciliation process between South and North Korea. The project will result in a policy report and a series of briefings for the policy communities in both countries.
