John Lenczowski and J. Michael Waller will lead an effort to develop a strategy to improve U.S. public diplomacy. They will conduct research and convene seminars to examine how best to organize U.S. public diplomacy efforts and to communicate the character and purposes of the United States to overseas audiences, particularly in the Muslim world. The project's findings will appear in two monographs and an edited volume.
