Comment: Censorship of the Internet in Asia This grant supports research on how the Internet may be used to undermine the control over information and communication by authoritarian and totalitarian regimes in East Asia. Stan Sesser will examine whether the governments of these countries are succeeding in their effort to control Internet access and usage and what tactics political activists may use to evade such controls. The project will result in a series of magazine articles, op-ed pieces, and a monograph.
