Comment: Preventing Juvenile Crime: Restorative Justice Conference as an Innovative Response to Juvenile Crime
This grant supports reserach on the effectiveness of restorative justice conferences, a community-based alternative sentencing program. First-time offenders will be randomly assigned to a restorative justice conference or the regular court process. The project will produce books, scholarly articles, and briefings for a variety of law enforcement, judicial, educational, and community groups.
