Susan Martin will lead an effort to examine policy approaches that address the social, economic, and civic integration of immigrants who settle in communities that have no recent experience with large numbers of foreign newcomers. The project’s findings will be published in an edited volume and a handbook evaluating the practicesused by different communities to foster integration.
