She will construct a database of known cases of adverse reactions to drugs and assess whether policies designed to bring drugs to market more quickly led to a higher rate of adverse effects.

This three-year grant supports a long-term follow-up study of teen mothers and their children who participated in a special New Haven, CT, high school program for pregnant teens. Researchers will gather information on the children of the teen mothers at 17 years of age, permitting a study of the developmental life course of both mothers and children. The products will be articles in professional publications.
